Obsidian Productions was officially born in the first month of the first year of the twenty-first millennium, as the culmination of over ten years of videography, twenty years of filming, twenty years of public service, forty-five years of music study, and fifty-two years of observation.

      We give thanks to the Creator for bringing us to this point. Our footsteps have been guided and the path has been revealed.  We are grateful for the inspiration and support from December Wind and our friends at Akwesasne, and especially our families.

      The Obsidian stones were given to Cindy over forty years ago in Mexico City.  The ancient knowledge that they represent has been instrumental in her growth and development.
